About Midstream Ridge Primary School

Midstream Ridge Primary School is a multi-cultural parallel medium school, nestled in the heart of Midstream Estates. We opened our doors in 2014 and have since then, only gone from strength to strength. As the years have progressed, we have built a strong ethos, based on a Christian foundation.

Midstream Ridge Primary School is a school where everyone has an opportunity to shine in a multitude of areas. This is due, in part, to the outstanding facilities that our school provides, but also because of a dedicated team of educators and specialists that strive to grow in their respective fields and build onto the foundations of each learner.

The extra-mural programme of the school is second-to-none and ensures that our learners can develop holistically within a safe environment. We believe that every learner has a role to play in the school and encourage them to find their passion, whether it be in culture, sport or academics. We are a family that laughs, cries and learns together and we will continue to strive to go above and beyond what is expected.

School Anthem

Midstream Ridge Laerskool

Ons streef na uitmuntendheid

Ons leuse Excellentia!

Die woorde sal ons altyd dra

Saam kan ons die toekoms bou

Deur God Almagtig te vertrou

Met passie sal ons rigting hou

Om sterk fondasies saam te bou

Ons vra U seën

Gee ons die krag

Om elke dag met trots te leef

Getrou na elke doel te streef

Ons vra U seën

Gee ons die krag

Om hoog te vlieg en ver te kyk

En voluit na ons droom te reik

Midstream Ridge Primary

By singing Excellentia!

Our motto carries certainty

Let us shape our destiny

By trusting God Almighty

With passion and pride and loyalty

We’ll strive to build a legacy

Transport

Midstream Ridge Primary School provides a free bus/transport service to learners residing at Midstream Hill Estate, who require this service. Upon application, learners are placed on a waiting list.

Bus 1 is allocated to our learners and operates to and from the following pick-up and drop-off points at Midstream Hill Estates and the school.

Pick-up (mornings):

  • 06:30–06:40 at the swimming pool on the corner of Glacier & Marmolade Street.
  • 06:45–07:00 at the park on Glacier & Baltoro Street. To ensure that the learners arrive on time, the bus leaves the estate promptly at 07:00. Drop-off of learners is on the inside of the school fence next to the Hall.

Drop-off (after school):

  • The bus departs the school premises at around 13:45 and should be at Midstream Hill Estate between 14:00 and 14:15, traffic permitting. The drop-off points are the same as the pick-up points.
